Founded in 1974 by the late PJ & Bridget McDaid in the Isle of Doagh, McDaids began as a small, family-run business focused on providing quality products and exceptional service. In 1995, the business moved to its current location in Cockhill, Buncrana, where it became known as McDaids Superstores eventually rebranding to McDaids Bathroom Plumbing Tiles. Today, McDaids proudly employs over 16 staff members and offers local deliveries every week through its fleet of vehicles, ensuring fast and reliable service to customers in the surrounding areas. Over the past 50 years, McDaids has grown from its humble beginnings into a trusted supplier for homes, businesses, and government offices across the region.

The anniversary celebration will take place at McDaids’ Cockhill store in Buncrana on October 25th, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The event will feature live coverage from Highland Radio and the highly anticipated Golden Ticket Draw, where one lucky attendee will win an ensuite bathroom valued at €2,500.
